1. Agreement
By downloading or using FitBite you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old (or the higher digital-consent age in your country) to create an account.
3. Not medical advice
FitBite provides wellness and nutrition tracking tools only. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. AI and barcode estimates can be wrong. You are responsible for how you use the information.
4. Accounts
You are responsible for your login credentials and activity under your account. Provide accurate information. You may delete your account in the App (Menu → Delete account) or via our deletion page.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the App, attempt unauthorized access, reverse engineer except where allowed by law, abuse AI features, or upload unlawful content.
6. Subscriptions (Premium)
- Premium is sold as an auto-renewing subscription through Google Play or the Apple App Store.
- Price is shown in the store / paywall before purchase and may vary by country/currency.
- Payment is charged to your store account at confirmation of purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period (or as required by the store).
- Manage or cancel in your store account settings (Google Play / App Store subscriptions).
- Free AI scans: limited free allowance (currently 3). Premium unlocks unlimited AI scans as described in the App. Barcode lookup remains available without Premium.
- Refunds are handled under Google Play / Apple policies.
7. Intellectual property
FitBite branding, UI, and software are owned by us or our licensors. You retain rights to content you create (meals, photos) and grant us a limited license to process it to provide the service.
8. Third-party services
The App uses Firebase, Google Sign-In, RevenueCat, OpenAI (for AI scans), Open Food Facts, and health platforms you connect. Their terms may also apply.
9. Disclaimers
The App is provided “as is” to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation or accuracy of nutrition estimates.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of data/profits arising from use of the App. Mandatory consumer rights in your country remain unaffected.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or legal risk. You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance where allowed by law.
